Founded in Harvard, Illinois on almost 100 acres of restored native prairie, the farm grew out of a necessity for healthy, organic food that was meant to heal. Originally started in 2011, the farm has grown from just a few raised beds and a hoop house, to rows upon rows of flowers and produce spanning over a half acre. Enveloped by prairie on almost all sides, we are fortunate to be nestled among native plants and pollinated by all types of insects and birds. The prairie provides the perfect buffer from the contamination of larger-scale agriculture and the interruption of the outside world.
